Educational Guidance and Counselling
Mary Grace FAJONYOMI, is a Professor of Guidance and Counselling in the Department of Counsellor Education, University of Ilorin, Nigeria. She graduated from University of Maiduguri in 1984. She earned her masters and doctorate degrees in Guidance and Counselling from University of Ibadan and Maiduguri, 1987 and 1997 respectively. She rose from the rank of Assistant lecturer in 1992 to a Professor in 2005. Prof. M.G. Fajonyomi loves teaching, research and community service. She has successfully supervised and examined many thesis. Prof. M.G. Fajonyomi has just completed her tenure as Head of Department. She has also served as Chairperson, Faculty of Education Disciplinary Committee, University of Ilorin; Post Graduate Coordinator, Department of Counsellor Education, University of Ilorin; Editor, Association of Professional Counsellors in Nigeria; Director, Counselling and Human Development Centre, University of Maiduguri; Member of Education and Humanities Research Team in TetFund and Deputy Dean Student Affairs, University of Maiduguri.
