Dr. O. K. Ogungbade is a Lecturer I, Department of Educational Guidance & Counselling, Faculty of Education, University of Ilorin, Ilorin. He is the Curator, Centre for Cultural Studies and Creative Arts. Also, he is an Examination Officer, Centre for Cultural Studies and Creative Arts. He was an examination Officer in the Department of Guidance & Counselling, as well as Assistant Seminar Coordinator in the Department. He is also a Level Adviser. He was the President of Unilorin Amicable Cooperative Society since October 2019 to October 2023; he has also served as Secretary and Chairman Credit Committee to the same Cooperative as well as Ex-officio twice. He is the current P.T.A. Chairman, University School. He served as P.R.O. and Vice-chairman, Parent Teachers’ Association, University School, he has served as Assistant Secretary, Special Marshall etc He worked as an Interpreter at Centre for Supportive Services for the Deaf, University of Ilorin between 2nd November 2001 and 13th March, 2019. He was employed as a lecturer on 13th March 2019 as Lecturer II, since then he has been teaching and conducting research in his area. His research areas include School Counselling, Educating People with Disabilities and Rehabilitative counselling.
