Biography

My name is Dr. Mariam Bukola Alwajud-Adewusi, a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Counsellor Edducation, Faculty of Education, University of Ilorin, Nigeria. I am specifically interested in Marital Counselling and Elderly Counselling. I hold a Ph.D. Educational Guidance and Counselling from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria (2019). My M.Ed. was from University of Ibadan, Nigeria (2008) while my first Degree was from Chemistry Department, University of Ilorin, Nigeria (2003). I also have a Professional Diploma in Education from University of Ibadan, Nigeria (2008). I am teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. I have served in my department as a Level Adviser. Presently, I am the Sandwich Programme Coordinator in the Institute of Education, I am a member of the Dress Code Committee in the Faculty of Education. I am also a member of the Certificate Screening Committee. I am equally serving as a member of Teachers Registration Council in Nigeria (TRCN) Committee in the Faculty of Education. I have supervised undergraduate and postgraduate students.
